We checked into Saba Haveli for a weekend and stayed for a month and a half. This is a very special place. Absolutely beautiful, big, palatial rooms. Fantastic service from Sanjay and Dhananjay's entire team. They took care of anything we needed, treated us like family, and truly made us feel at home. Also their food is outstanding. We flew kites on the rooftop, watched incredible sunsets, celebrated Holi in their garden and felt like we'd moved in. We'll be back.

This hotel was so much more than we could hope for! It had all the amenities you need for a long stay (& we are picky Americans from Manhattan); ac, fans, lots of working windows that open (you can always get that perfect temperature), good room layout, comfy bed, a big shower with lots of hot water, a private garden across the street, an amazing rooftop city view of all the forts and palaces, and the food! Every meal was incredible. Because of all this that we didn’t feel like we needed to leave the hotel. We had a lot of variety, cooking class, the puppet show, a romantic private candle lit dinner on the roof, hanging in the private garden across the street. The staff was incredible and every request (like late night ice cream) was met and exceeded. But the condition of the hotel is really what makes it special. They let the beautiful old things be old, but added complimentary and well functioning design. Most importantly the space is elegant and very comfortable but the best part is that there is a layer of charming grit and history that makes the past and the present feel real and come together perfectly. Do yourself a favor and stay here. As a lesbian couple we felt so safe and welcome and hope everyone gets a chance to stay at this magical place, we will be back!

We have just had an incredible experience in Jaipur staying at the Saba Haveli, the type of stay we had always dreamt of having in India. Firstly and most importantly it is always the people that make the place. Sanjay and his son Dhananjay are always welcoming while the beautiful-natured Gauri and the ever-smiling Dhan Singh make sure the haveli runs efficiently and smoothly. The setting is wonderful. There is a rooftop terrace where we had candlelit dinners at sunset surrounded by views of the city and the hillside forts while the sounds of the muezzin and the music from the houses float upwards. There’s also a secluded garden where we could sit and read in peace. The food was delicious. I would particularly recommend the paneer butter masala, the aubergine moussaka and the crispy potatoes, but truly it was all scrumptious. The room was amazing. For the price it is nothing short of opulent. Ornate timber doors, loads of space to relax, a comfortable king sized bed, a hot powerful shower in a big bathroom with beautiful tiles. All set in a 250 year old property. We will gladly return and heartily recommend to all of our friends and family.

We had an excellent time at Saba Haveli. Everyone of the staff was super helpful and polite. The food served was excellent and the candlelight dinner on the rooftop with a glorious view of Nahargarh fort and the Garh Ganesh temple was the highlight of our stay. The property has a unique character which is hard to find in Jaipur. Our room was on the terrace. The room is massive and the views from the room are spectacular. Dhananjayji and his team work hard to provide a cozy and intimate atmosphere for all guests

This hotel was perfect for our sightseeing long weekend in Jaipur. The room & en-suite were beautifully decorated and very clean. DJ & all the other staff were very helpful & friendly. We had dinner on the rooftop & they even lit a fire for us to keep off the chill of the evening. Airport transfer was provided which made getting there through the busy streets really easy. Highly recommended.
